Performance of all vascular studies performed in the Vascular lab, Ultrasound Dept., and assist Vascular Surgeon in the OR with certain ultrasound guided procedures.
Graduate of an accredited School of Ultrasound Technology and/or a graduate of an Accredited School of Vascular Technology Current Vascular Certification from ARDMS or CCI required.
Minimum Education: Bachelor Degree or equivalent.
Minimum Experience: 2 years in a vascular lab setting.
Required Certification/Registration: Registered or registry eligible with Society of Registered Vascular Technologists. Registry must be obtained within one year of hire.
Physical Requirements: Close patient contact, some lifting required. On feet most of day.
Working Conditions: In patient care areas exposed to blood and body fluids. Can be assigned to work in the Vascular lab,
Operating room, or any GHVHS ultrasound site.
